Family Care Consultant

Michaela Forty – Family Care Advice

In 1992 I left the family business to work “with people” and walked straight into working for the NHS as a Community Day Care Coordinator. Since then supporting people, giving advice, working with vulnerable adults and managing projects delivering services to older people have given me the opportunity to work “with people” on a daily basis, helping them to live their best life, with the support and care they need.

It is this drive and passion to support people, coupled to an acute awareness of the stresses and strains that informal carers such as spouses, family and friends experience, which inspired me to form Family Care Advice. I’m delighted with the opportunity to offer compassionate practical support, information and guidance to explore care solutions and to be able to help families, in what can be emotional and stressful times.

I am qualified in Health & Social Care and Advanced Information & Advice and have additional qualifications which include Dementia Awareness, Working with People with a Learning Disability, Energy Debt Advice, Mental Health First Aid, Counselling Skills and an Adult Teaching Certificate.
