Specialist Handmade Jewellery
Ann Finnemore – Robin and Wren Handmade Jewellery
Making everyday jewellery that you don’t see every day.
I am a Barwell-based jewellery maker who is inspired by a love of the natural world.
Working mainly in silver and semi-precious stones, I make beautiful pieces of her own designs.
I make all the jewellery by hand, and many of my pieces are completely unique, one-off pieces. Other designs I might make in small numbers, but as each is crafted by hand individually, even ones from the same design have slight variations to add to their individuality.
I always have some very special pieces available for gifts, but can also take commissions for personalised items. When working on commissions I will consult with you to ensure that I understand your vision for your piece and to let you know the different ways that I can achieve that vision.
I mainly use a form of silver which is reclaimed from photographic materials, making it ethically sourced.
The natural world has always been a passion of mine, and I am constantly inspired by the flora and fauna around me. As well as walking in the countryside, I also volunteer with the local park rangers to help with the maintenance of our local country park in Market Bosworth. I hope you can see my love of the natural world, large and small, in my designs as I try to reflect its beauty in the jewellery I make.
I also love the gorgeous colours found in many parts of nature – the sky, the sea, flowers and more. For this reason I use natural gemstones, and occasionally glass and created stones, to bring these colours into my work.
